On August 24, 2020, the IRCC introduced a new COVID-19 policy that allows visitors who are currently in Canada and have a valid job offer to apply for an employer-specific work permit and if approved can start working without leaving the country. Due to COVID-19, the deadline for y allowing visitors to apply online for a work permit from inside Canada has been extended to February 2022
You can stay in Canada for a period of 6months. You can however extend your stay by applying for an extension.
