  • Do I need to hire an immigration Consultant?

    It is not a requirement of the Canadian immigration authorities to have a consultant to represent you for purposes of making a visa application or otherwise dealing with the immigration authorities, however, it is generally advisable to use am immigration consultant, and in some cases it is strongly recommended. Immigration applications have legal implications. They are an application to the Canadian government for a type of status in Canada, and the Canadian immigration authorities are very strict in their assessment of these applications. Even a simple unintentional error can have very serious repercussions that can cause a great deal of trouble to the unwitting self-represented immigration applicant. What might seem to be a small, unimportant mistake can put you and your entire family’s future at risk.

  • Someone has guarantee me a visa, how true is this?

    No one can guarantee a visa because no immigration consultant or agent has an influence over your application after it is submitted. A licensed immigration consultant would never guarantee a visa. Watch out for scam agents.

  • What is a Permanent Residence visa?

    A permanent resident (PR) is someone who has been given permanent resident status but is not a Canadian citizen. When foreign nationals first apply for and receive permanent residency, they are issued a PR visa in their passport. It provides approved individuals a one-time entry to Canada and has a validity period during which individuals are expected to travel to Canada and complete their landing formalities. Individuals who are in Canada temporarily such as a student, foreign worker or visitor, are not considered permanent residents and would not be issued a PR visa. The most sought after way to settle as a PR in Canada is through immigration streams such as Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP). Refugees can also become permanent residents through the Government-Assisted Refugee Program or the Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program.

  • Who requires an Immigrant Visa?

    Foreign people who plan to live permanently in the abroad are granted immigrant visas. Nonimmigrant visas are for foreign nationals who seek to visit the foreign country temporarily for reasons such as tourism, medical treatment, business, temporary work, study, or other similar activities.

  • Can I immigrate to Canada with my family?

    Your family may be able to immigrate with you to Canada if they are processed for PR as your dependents. This includes: Spouse or common-law partner Dependent child Your spouse or common-law partner’s dependent child A dependent child of a dependent child However, your dependents are not permitted to arrive in Canada before you. You can also sponsor eligible family members through the Family sponsorship program. This allows family members to live, work, and study in Canada. As a sponsor, you need to prove you will: Meet basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing for your family member Be able to support the family member financially for a period of time Not be receiving social assistance for reasons other than a disability

  • Can I work while my spousal application from inside Canada is in process?

    If you already have a work permit, please talk to us to see how you can apply for an Approval in Principal AIP work permit before the expiry of your current one, that will allow you to continue to work. If not, you may qualify for a Work Permit for a NOC O, A or B level position already under the normal LMIA criteria based on your education, work in a skilled profession and labour market shortage, and your employer’s willingness to sponsor an LMIA for you. Failing this, you will need to wait and apply for an open work permit only after you receive ‘approval in principle’.

  • I have been denied visa once. Can I use your services to reapply?

    That all depends on what went wrong in the first application, and the reason that was given for the decline. Some applications cannot be repeated, like refugee claims. Others may qualify to be appealed within the prescribed periods set out by Canada Immigration. If there was no misrepresentation in the first application, and the grounds for the original application still exist, then a new application can be made, and is often successful. If you are now coming back under the Express Entry program, you will need to know how the changes and ranking criteria impact your chances of being selected under the new EE protocol.
